“Thank you for speaking to *Max for me. I really appreciate it, it means a lot, it means everything.” We receive these and other responses from our callers and contacts who ask CCC to reach out to people who are vulnerable and need assistance.
Another caller recently reported: “I had experienced the devastating MAiD (euthanasia) deaths of five of my immediate loved ones; I wish I knew you existed before then.” CCC tries to get ahead of every case, helping each person, and answering every call; sometimes we catch them before a euthanasia death, others find us after the fact. Nonetheless, CCC continues to be available for those who are struggling via our free 24-hour helpline, affirming life and renewing hope.
CCC continues to speak at various events to spread awareness about our resources and life-saving assistance. Being With volunteer visitor training sessions will be held this month in Perth, followed by Guelph, Ottawa, and Vancouver in October, and throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Saskatoon in November. We welcome every opportunity to share our life-affirming message and hope-filled work with communities across Canada. Contact CCC today to bring us to your community.
Please donate to Compassionate Community Care this month and support Alex Schadenberg’s run on Saturday October 12th. This annual event takes place at Hamilton Bay, covering 21 km (a half-marathon)!
Please help CCC continue its work and advance many initiatives, by pledging your support and giving today.
